Brad Kendell (USA) has special "stumpies" for Sonar racing. His long legs get stowed in a dry bag and left behind when he sails. Once on land he stands tall and walks and talks on the phone just like normal people.
There is a lot of interesting adaptive equipment on display at the Rolex Miami Olympic Classes Regatta. All three Paralympic Sailing classes, the Sonar, the SKUD 18, and the 2.4 Meter classes are racing at this ISAF Grade 1 Event. More to come throughout the week.
